Job summary

NYU Langone Health's NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks a Nurse Practitioner in Endocrinology to join a multidisciplinary team in Brooklyn Heights. The NP will provide comprehensive care, order and interpret studies, and collaborate with physicians to develop tailored treatment plans for diverse patient populations.

Candidates must hold NYS NP and RN licenses, have a Master's in Nursing, and maintain BLS certification. Preference for those with ACLS/PALS and prior endocrinology experience.

Qualifications

• Current registration as Professional Nurse in New York and Nurse Practitioner in New York.
• Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association; ANCC or board certification in specialty as soon as feasible.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize care to meet patient needs per protocols and pathways.
• Collaborate with nursing and other disciplines on clinical studies and care plans.
• Prescribe medications, equipment, therapy, and home health services per protocol; include NYS regulations.
• Monitor patient outcomes and drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide education and act as a resource for peers and other health professionals.
