Overview
A physician-led, multi-location medical group is seeking an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner for its outpatient practice in Coram, NY. This well-established organization is known for clinical excellence, strong patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
What you'll do
- Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders (hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism), hormone imbalances, and infertility
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Refer patients to appropriate specialty services as needed
- Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system
- Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines
- Contribute to building a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives
What you'll need
- BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school
- Training in Endocrinology
- NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care
- Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base
- Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus
- 8+ years experience as a NP
Compensation and benefits
- $200K-$300K per year
- Part time or Full time, flexible hours, Monday–Friday, no call
