Job summary

MFM Health is seeking an Endocrinology Medical Assistant to support our endocrinology department and patient care workflow. You will prepare exam rooms, room patients, perform vital checks, assist with procedures, and help manage patient education materials and prescriptions.

Collaboration with providers is essential for accurate charting and timely care. Responsibilities include data entry for meters and sensors, Libre Pro management, injections administration, and prior authorizations

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant or relevant certification preferred.
• Proficiency in handling endocrinology-related equipment and procedures preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with medical software/systems, preferably Athena.
• Understanding of insurance processes and prior authorization procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and room patients, perform vital checks and assist with procedures.
• Maintain patient educational materials and coordinate prescriptions and prior authorizations.
• Ensure seamless communication between patients and providers.
• Document injections, prepare patient charts, and assist with data entry from meters and sensors.
• Assist with Libre Pro sensor management and data integration.
