Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Healthcare and customer service experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• BLS from American Heart Association within three months of employment and kept up to date.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families according to Nemours standards and verify identity.
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment, ensure documents and diagnostic reports are ready.
• Document vital signs and visit reason, initiate orders as appropriate.
• Assist examination and treatment, perform point-of-care testing, and vaccinate when directed.
• Collect routine laboratory specimens and operate necessary medical equipment.
• Support the flow of patient care and communicate wait times with families.
