Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires
• Graduate from an accredited school of medical assistance
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact job
• Work experience in health care preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks
• Appointment scheduling and chart management
• Provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services
• Convey a positive image of the organization

Education
