Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Green Health and Wellness Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Endocrinology team. The role supports endocrine care and patient screenings at a patient-friendly clinic, with responsibilities spanning clinical and clerical tasks.

Typical duties include collecting and documenting patient data, assisting with treatments, and coordinating schedule and registrations. You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with travel to Stow and Akron Physicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved medical assisting program OR military training as a hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1).
• Completion of a clinical externship OR extensive clinical experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); if not held, must obtain it during the new hire period.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments by gathering and updating health information, noting medication changes, allergies, collecting specimens, performing tests, and documenting patient care.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies, and examination areas.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
