Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of medical assisting program preferred.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification required (CMA/ RMA/ ABR-OE).
• Minimum of one year work experience in public contact job, preferably in a medical office.
• Knowledge of health care field and patient information communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and procedures.
• Manage patient charts and scheduling.
• Assist with clerical duties and front desk tasks as needed.
• Prepare exam rooms and set up instruments per protocol, ensuring infection control.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families and respond to emergencies.
