Job summary

Optum is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Endocrinology team in Golden, CO. The role supports clinicians with patient care, performs clerical tasks, and helps coordinate services across the clinic.

Required: MA program or relevant experience, High School diploma, BLS or willing to obtain, 2+ years Endocrinology, and CGM experience. Sign-on bonus of $4,000 for external candidates applies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant experience.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years of Endocrinology experience.
• Experience with CGM monitoring equipment/software.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinician with patient-oriented procedures under supervision.
• Conduct clerical and administrative duties related to patient care.
• Check patients in, escort to exam rooms, and coordinate with ancillary services.
• Record vital signs and report to RN, LVN, or clinician.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain exam/treatment areas.
