Job summary

MultiCare in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support the endocrinology clinic under supervision. You will manage patient flow, assist with exams, measure vitals, and prepare patients for procedures.

Qualifications

• Washington State MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in collaboration with front office staff.
• Interviewing patients for intake and history.
• Obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administration of medications in compliance with WA DoH rules.
• Relaying instructions to patients and families/caregivers.
• Sending and receiving patient medical records and referrals.
• Preparing forms for patients and coordinating with clinics.
