Job summary

Loyola Medicine invites applications for Chief, Division of Endocrinology, at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. This nationally recognized leader will guide clinical care, education, and translational research in endocrinology and metabolism.

The ideal candidate will advance patient care, mentor faculty, and collaborate with Stritch School of Medicine and affiliated centers. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits accompany a full-time faculty appointment.

Qualifications

A Medical Doctorate (MD) with board certification in endocrinology is required.
Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois is required.
Academic rank typically Associate Professor or Professor.
Proven leadership in an academic medical center.
Excellence in clinical care, education, and/or research.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for endocrine programs.
Mentor faculty and trainees, promoting academic career development.
Drive quality of patient care and outcomes in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.
Support and expand research productivity in diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, and bone metabolism.
Collaborate with Loyola Medicine, Stritch School of Medicine, and affiliated institutions to align goals.
