The Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a substantive Endocrinology and Diabetes Consultant to lead Diabetes Technology and to join an established team of six consultants at Swindon.

The post is based at the Great Western Hospital site with some opportunities to work remotely and one month in four on call; the role covers inpatient and outpatient services, clinics, and MDT participation.

Formación

• MRCP (UK) or equivalent required.
• CCT (or equivalent) and GMC Specialist Register in Endocrine & Diabetes preferred.
• Fully registered with the GMC and on the Specialist Register is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Diabetes Technology initiatives and oversee Diabetes endocrinology services.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care with MDT support.
• Participate in teaching, audits, and Clinical Governance; on-call rota as required.
• Develop subspecialty interests and contribute to service development and the Trust’s strategic aims.
