Job summary

Albany Med Health System is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to organize and manage multiple industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials. You will protect patient safety from initiation to study completion and support startup/termination, recruitment, screenings, scheduling, biospecimen processing, and data collection.

The role requires LPN training or a health-related bachelor's degree, with 2–3 years of trial experience preferred and certification in clinical research

Qualifications

• LPN training or a health-related bachelor's degree.
• 6 years of related research or clinical experience may substitute.
• ACRP or SOCRA certification preferred.
• HIPAA training and other regulatory certifications.
• Phlebotomy, EKG, or point-of-care testing credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization and management of multiple trials (industry sponsored and investigator-initiated).
• Assist in start-up and termination procedures, recruit and screen participants.
• Schedule visits, perform physical assessments and collect biospecimens as required.
• Collect data and ensure protocol compliance across sites and vendors.
• Serve as liaison between PI, site staff, sponsors, CROs, and other stakeholders.
