Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and manage activities for clinical trials across internal, industry, foundation, and federal funding sources. You will ensure compliance with human subject research regulations and good clinical practices.

Responsibilities include screening patients, educating patients and families, collecting and managing data, maintaining regulatory binders, and ensuring protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or RN with 1–3 years of clinical research experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for human subjects research (IRB/EC, FDA, GCP).
• Ability to obtain informed consent and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with clinical staff to identify patients eligible for clinical trials.
• Interfaces with patients and their families to educate regarding investigational studies and consent requirements.
• Collects, maintains, and stores all relevant clinical data, case report forms, and regulatory binders.
• Plans, coordinates, and manages activities for clinical trials ensuring patient safety, compliance, and protocol adherence.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
