Job description

The Division of Endocrinology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) seeks full-time board-certified / board-eligible endocrinologists to join its rapidly growing premier/academic practice.

Our nationally ranked Endocrinology program provides a diverse patient mix and substantial opportunity for personalized career growth and development. Successful candidates may contribute to clinical activities at satellite clinics in Pittsburgh and Surrounding Area (Erie, Pennsylvania) in person or telemedicine clinics. The practice includes outpatient clinics, an inpatient consult service, and numerous subspecialty services. The practice is supported by a nurse practitioner led inpatient diabetes team, a large diabetes educator/nutrition team, and clinical/administrative support staff.

Candidates must have an MD or DO degree, be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, and have a solid foundation in endocrinology and diabetes as well as commitment to the academic mission (clinical care, education, quality improvement, and/or scholarly work). J-1 candidates are accepted. Successful candidates will become faculty members in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology with an academic appointment commensurate with experience.
