Job summary

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) in Tucson, Arizona seeks a board-certified Endocrinologist to join our multidisciplinary Endocrinology Division and deliver exceptional care to America's Veterans.

This full-time, permanent role features teaching medical students and residents, participation in quality improvement, and potential protected research time; licensure in any US state is accepted.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified in Endocrinology (ABIM).
• Eligible for faculty appointment at University of Arizona.
• Current, valid medical license in any US state or territory.
• U.S. Citizenship per VA guidelines.
• Completion of Residency Training in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive endocrinology care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows from the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
• Conduct scholarly activities; potential up to 35% protected research time.
