Job description

UCR Health and the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine is recruiting endocrinologist clinicians. The clinician-educator will support the inpatient and outpatient clinical practice in endocrinology within an academic setting. The incumbent will practice at UCR Health Clinics and/or UCR-affiliated clinical facilities in Riverside and surrounding areas. We are seeking a board-certified endocrinologist to join our team of medical professionals.

As an endocrinologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hormone disorders and other problems relating to the endocrine system. The endocrinologist will evaluate patient symptoms and medical histories, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans. You will also help patients to deal with the physical limitations due to diseases stemming from problems with the endocrine system.

To be successful as an endocrinologist, you should be thoroughly trained in understanding, treating, and managing endocrine disorders. You should be analytical, supportive, and have good communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate must possess an M.D. or equivalent degree and be eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment. Candidate must be board certified as a specialist in endocrinology, and/or related sub specialty.

A minimum of one year of practice post residency training from an accredited residency training program is required.

Applicants must qualify for medical staff privileges at UCR Health and UCR affiliated hospitals.

The full salary range for the Endocrinologist Physician Specialist is from $118,100 - $302,700 annually, with additional compensation eligibility based on clinical productivity. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
