Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth is seeking a patient-centered Endocrinologist to join a team of physicians and staff. The role emphasizes outpatient practice with a typical 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

schedule, plus potential outreach and a weekend call rotation. Inpatient diabetes coverage is included, on a rotation basis, with no call obligation as described at interview. Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Endocrinology and prepared to work within a hospital campus setting that connects to St.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Endocrinology required.
• Experience with inpatient diabetes care is a plus.
• Patient-centered approach and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient endocrinology care in a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Inpatient diabetes coverage as part of the rotation; some outreach possible.
• Engage in coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team on campus.
