UPMC Central Pa is seeking an endocrinologist to join a comprehensive outpatient practice offering diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, osteoporosis, and menopause care. The role includes advanced thyroid services, insulin pumps, CGM, and opportunities for clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of outpatient endocrine disorders.
• Provide consultative support to inpatient endocrinology nurse practitioner team.
• Care for diabetes patients using insulin pumps and CGM devices.
• Develop and expand thyroid services including office ultrasound and biopsy.
• Collaborate with infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Support osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to future clinical research opportunities and program development.

• Providing consultative support and guidance to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team

• Participating in the development and expansion of advanced thyroid services, including office-based ultrasound and biopsy proceduresCollaborating with a dedicated infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment
