Job summary

UPMC Central Pa in South Central Pennsylvania is seeking an Adult Endocrinologist to join a growing team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in outpatient and consultative settings.

This role focuses on diabetes, thyroid, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and menopause management, with in-office thyroid ultrasound/biopsy, CGM and insulin pump support, and opportunities for clinical research.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Fellowship graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting.
• Provide consultative support to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.
• Care for patients with diabetes using insulin pumps and CGM devices.
• Develop and expand advanced thyroid services, including office-based ultrasound and biopsy procedures.
• Collaborate with the infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Support osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to future clinical research opportunities and program development.
