Job summary

UPMC Central Pa seeks an endocrinologist to join a comprehensive outpatient endocrinology practice focusing on diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary issues, osteoporosis, and transgender hormone management.

You will contribute to a robust diabetes program with CGM/insulin pump support, advanced thyroid services, and offices across multiple clinics in South Central Pennsylvania. A strong emphasis on research opportunities and professional growth is provided within a physician-led system.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.

Join a growing endocrinology team with several clinics throughout UPMC Central Pa and play an integral role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across the region.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting
• Providing consultative support and guidance to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team
• Caring for patients with diabetes utilizing advanced technologies, including insulin pumps and CGM devices
• Participating in the development and expansion of advanced thyroid services, including office-based ultrasound and biopsy procedures
• Collaborating with a dedicated infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment
• Supporting osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives
• Contributing to future clinical research opportunities and program development

Candidate Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
