Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an endocrine physician to join our Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism in Worcester. The role focuses on outpatient diabetes care within a collaborative, academic environment at the UMass Chan Medical School.

The position offers teaching opportunities, involvement in clinical research, and access to a Diabetes Center of Excellence. Satellite clinics and a strong team provide comprehensive patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Endocrinology.
• MD or DO degree required; MA license.
• Interest in academic teaching and clinical research.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient endocrinology and diabetes care across Worcester and satellite sites.
• Teach and supervise fellows in outpatient settings.
• Engage in academic teaching and potential teaching appointments.
• Participate in thyroid, obesity, and metabolic clinics as needed.
