Qualifications

• MD degree and board certification in endocrinology.
• Experience in medical education, curriculum development, learner assessment, or related areas.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Texas and academic rank.
• Strong teaching, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship of faculty.

Responsibilities

• Assist clerkship directors in planning and delivering medical student education.
• Recruit, develop, and retain clinical clerkship preceptors and sites.
• Evaluate teaching sites and preceptors; provide feedback and assessments.
• Collaborate with LIC team to align clerkship experiences with curriculum.
• Conduct workshops, seminars, and courses for students and trainees.
• Support faculty development and mentored teaching across departments.
• Participate in clinical duties relevant to endocrinology and internal medicine.
• Represent the department in curriculum governance and assessment.
