Job summary

Medical Associates Plus in Augusta, GA is seeking a board-certified/eligible Endocrinologist to provide comprehensive outpatient care for a diverse patient population. The physician will manage diabetes, thyroid and other endocrine disorders, collaborate with primary care, and adhere to HRSA/HEDIS guidelines.

Outpatient clinic with EHR documentation within 72 hours. Candidate should hold MD or DO, Georgia license, DEA and BLS/ACLS, plus fellowship in Endocrinology with Internal Medicine

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school, board certified/eligible.
• Georgia license and DEA registration, BLS/ACLS.
• Fellowship in Endocrinology with Internal Medicine training.
• New graduates encouraged to apply if qualified.
• Strong documentation in the EHR within 72 hours of encounters.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on guidelines.
• Interpret labs and imaging to guide decisions.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with regulations.
• Educate patients on disease management and adherence.
• Collaborate with primary care and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document encounters promptly in the EHR.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
