Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join a well-established, physician-led practice on Long Island. The role emphasizes outpatient endocrine care within a multidisciplinary team, with access to diabetes educators and dietitians.

The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required with active or eligible board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented, patient-centered care approach.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a patient base.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality endocrine care as a key clinical provider.
• Perform comprehensive assessments incl. history, physicals, and diagnostic test interpretation.
• Outpatient-focused role within a multispecialty group.
• Access diabetes care services with Certified Diabetes Educators and Dietitians.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor medications and maintain EMRs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and promote preventive care.
• Participate in medical education and practice improvement.
