• Monday-Friday outpatient schedule

Clinical Scope

Provide comprehensive endocrine care, including:

• Diabetes management
• Thyroid and parathyroid disorders
• Osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease
• Adrenal, pituitary, and reproductive hormone disorders
• Hormone testing and diagnostic evaluations
• Imaging interpretation, including ultrasound and MRI review
• Thyroid and endocrine biopsies

Procedural Opportunities

Physicians may perform:

• Ultrasound-guided thyroid nodule biopsies
• Fine-needle aspiration biopsies
• Endocrine diagnostic procedures
• Imaging review and interpretation

Call Coverage

• Light hospital and practice call responsibilities
• Primarily phone-based consultations and medication management
• Rarely required to come into the hospital
• Hospital coverage through Holmes Regional Medical Center
• Common call topics include diabetes management, gestational diabetes, and routine endocrine concerns
• Minimal overnight emergencies
• Hospital and practice call covered concurrently
