Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed residency in Internal Medicine.
  • Completed fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
  • Board certification (or eligibility) in Endocrinology.
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in New York State.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage thyroid disorders, including hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and thyroid nodules.
  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with diabetes, including medication management and insulin therapy education.
  • Evaluate and treat pituitary conditions such as growth hormone deficiency and Cushing’s syndrome.
  • Manage adrenal disorders, including Addison’s disease and adrenal insufficiency.
  • Treat metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis and osteomalacia.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, nurses, dietitians, and other specialists for coordinated patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on their conditions and self-management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-regarded hospital serving diverse communities across Queens, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Endocrinologist to join their growing team! This is a great opportunity to provide comprehensive endocrine care within a highly accredited health system known for quality patient outcomes and strong community ties.

The annual base salary range is $225,000 to $325,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
