Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Active New York State medical license or eligibility.
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate, and manage a broad range of endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, metabolic disorders, adrenal conditions, and hormonal imbalances.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on evidence-based care and long-term disease management.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, imaging, and laboratory studies.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medication management, nutrition, and preventive health strategies.
• Build long-term relationships with patients while promoting continuity of care.
• Provide culturally sensitive and compassionate care to a diverse patient population.
• Work closely with primary care providers, specialists, nurses, educators, and care coordinators.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health programs.
• Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation.
