Job summary

Care New England in Providence, Rhode Island seeks an endocrinologist to join a growing team for outpatient clinical care and inpatient consult coverage. The role emphasizes diabetes and various endocrine disorders with collaboration across OB Medicine and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

The position includes teaching opportunities with medical students and residents, and uses Epic Systemwide for electronic medical records. BE/BC Endocrinology required or board eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed or currently enrolled in an ACGME accredited residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in the applicable specialty.
• Active Rhode Island MD/DO, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient endocrine care including diabetes and thyroid disorders.
• Inpatient endocrine consult coverage at Women & Infants Hospital.
• Collaborate with OB Medicine, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Women’s Health teams.
• Precept medical students and residents as available.

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Endocrinologist to join our growing team in Providence, Rhode Island

Endocrinology Position Spotlight

• Stellar Team consists of endocrinologists, nurse practitioners, dieticians and clinical pharmacists with expertise in endocrinology and diabetes care.
• Full time, 80% clinical & 20% patient charting - mainly outpatient with coverage ofinpatient consults at Women & Infants Hospital with rotational call ( Phone/Pager only)
• Subspecialty interests supported
• Provide high-quality care for patients with a broad range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and other hormonal conditions including diabetes and general endocrine care in pre-pregnant and pregnant patients.
• Collaboration with specialty teams at Women & Infants Hospital, including OB Medicine, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Women’s Health
• Average daily patient census 15 - 20
• Precepting of medical students and residents available

Requirements
