Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Endocrinologist to join our established Endocrinology team in Champaign, Illinois. The role involves joining a team of 4 BC Endocrinologists and 8 Advanced Practice Providers.

You will participate in a 1:5 call schedule with hospital rounding for non-diabetes endocrine consults and will have no primary care patients in this division. The department includes Nutrition Services and the Diabetic Education Program, with potential for academic affiliation

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible endocrinologist (BE/BC).

Responsibilities

• Provide endocrine consultations and inpatient coverage including hospital rounding for non-diabetes endocrinology cases.
• Participate in the division activities and collaborate with Nutrition Services and Diabetic Education Program.
