Job summary

Tryon Medical Partners in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Endocrinologist for a 100% outpatient role focused on comprehensive endocrine care. The position offers strong internal referral networks and robust clinical support within a physician-led, collaborative practice.

Responsibilities include managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic diseases, with options for in-office thyroid ultrasound and other procedures as interests permit.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and metabolic conditions
• Diagnose and manage hormonal imbalances through clinical evaluation, lab interpretation, and imaging when appropriate
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle counseling
• Deliver longitudinal care for chronic endocrine conditions, emphasizing prevention and disease management
• Collaborate closely with primary care physicians and specialists within Tryon's integrated network
• Utilize EMR for documentation and care coordination
• Option to perform in-office procedures such as thyroid ultrasound and fine-needle aspiration, based on interest and experience
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development
