Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is partnering with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, BC/BE Endocrinologist in Mattoon, Illinois. This role offers a flexible practice model with a lucrative, production-backed compensation and a strong patient panel for growth.

You will work with an experienced physician and APP, with a schedule that can be approximately 3 focused days per week or an alternating week-on/week-off rotation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency followed by an Endocrinology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Endocrinology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain).
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong communication and clinical leadership skills to successfully collaborate within a physician/APP team model.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services for endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal disorders.
• Manage a robust patient panel focusing on diabetes care, thyroid diseases, pituitary/adrenal disorders, and metabolic bone disease.
• Collaborate with on-site team currently comprising a physician and an APP.
• Offer a highly flexible schedule with ~3 days per week or week-on/week-off rotation.
• Limit clinical calls to reviewing critical labs; no heavy hospital call burden.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records for patient care.

Compensation: $320,000 annually

Schedule: Highly Flexible | ~3 Days per Week or Week-On / Week-Off Rotation Available

Location: Mattoon, Illinois

We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Endocrinologist. This role offers a uniquely collaborative and flexible practice model, giving you the rare opportunity to structure your ideal work schedule while enjoying a highly lucrative, production-backed compensation structure. Working alongside an established internal specialist team, you will step into an active patient panel with immense growth potential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services for a full spectrum of endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal disorders.
• Manage a robust, established patient panel focusing on advanced diabetes care, thyroid diseases, pituitary/adrenal disorders, and metabolic bone disease.
• Partner and collaborate seamlessly with the existing on-site team, currently comprised of one experienced physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
• Work your choice of a highly flexible practice schedule, with options for approximately 3 focused days per week or an alternating week-on/week-off rotation.
• Manage minor clinical call responsibilities, restricted primarily to reviewing critical lab values as needed (no arduous, traditional hospital call burdens).
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all patient consultations and follow-up care.
