Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Endocrine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Connecticut. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8a–5p at an outpatient cancer center, focusing on endocrine neoplasia cases. Requires board certification, CT licensure, and relevant oncology credentials with 4–8 weeks credentialing.

EPIC EMR experience and BLS/DEA/Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy certifications are required. Highly competitive pay and full travel logistics support are provided.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant board certified in related field.
• Experience in endocrinology or endocrine neoplasia preferred.
• Proficient with the EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient endocrine oncology care in a cancer center.
• Collaborate with oncology and support teams for patient management.
• Assess, plan and follow up on treatment plans during clinic hours.

This facility is seeking an Endocrine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP)for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Credentialing timeframe: 4-8 weeks
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC
• Certifications required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certification and Oncology Certified
• Licensure required: Connecticut state medical license
• and one year of Advanced Practitioner experience in Endocrinology or Endocrine Neoplasia.
