Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University (ONPRC) seeks a Core Director to oversee the Endocrine Technologies Core. You will manage staff, maintain advanced endocrine assay capabilities, and coordinate with internal and external clients while guiding budgeting, pricing, and equipment strategy.

The role includes presenting new technology at meetings and contributing to grant renewals, reflecting leadership in a premier academic research environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 7 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of development, validation and performance of endocrine assays (EIA, RIA, LC‑MS/MS).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the ONPRC Endocrine Technologies Core (ETC).
• Manage core staff and liaise with internal and external clients.
• Develop and manage annual core operating budgets and set service prices.
• Recommend equipment replacement and new instrument acquisition with committee input.
• Present new technology development at meetings and in core publications.
• Contribute to P51 core grant renewal by writing ETC sections and progress reports.
