Job summary

Prime Healthcare is looking for a qualified Advance Practice Provider to join their Endocrine team in Lewiston, Maine. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive care to patients aged 18 and older, including treatment and diabetes education.

The ideal candidate will possess an MSN with APRN specialization and a current Nurse Practitioner license. Experience in Endocrinology is preferred, along with skills in insulin pumps and glucose monitoring.

Qualifications

• Two years as nurse practitioner in Endocrinology & Diabetes preferred or two years as a nurse practitioner in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients 18 years and above.
• Conduct tests, record medical histories, and provide treatments.
• Assist physicians and enhance public awareness on health.

Skills

Insulin pumps

Continuous glucose monitors (CGM's)

Intense insulin regimens

Lead or co-lead SMA's

We are seeking a full time Advance Practice Provider to join our Endocrine team.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients 18 years old and above, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments and diabetes education, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

• Current state license as an Nurse Practitioner
• BLS upon hire and maintain current
• Two years as nurse practitioner in Endocrinology & Diabetes preferred or two years as a nurse practitioner in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine clinic
