Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for PRN shifts in Corpus Christi, TX. You will assist GI and endoscopy procedures, prepare rooms and equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout care.

Responsibilities include handling instruments, assisting clinicians, maintaining sterile environments, and documenting equipment status. Basic Life Support is required within 30 days; at least 1 year of experience is preferred.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1 years experience preferred

• Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout their care

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll play an important role in helping provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your careful work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, well-organized environment will help protect patients and empower caregivers to deliver on our shared mission to improve more lives in more ways.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself
• Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices
