Job summary

USPIMemorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking a motivated Endo OR RN to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms and 3 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Endo and OR.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient for surgery and ensure proper alignment.
• Prep the patient and maintain a sterile field before and during procedures.
• Circulate the case and assist the team throughout the operation.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
