Qualifications

Proven experience shooting, producing, and editing short-form social video (all three, not just one or two).
Own or be comfortable operating camera/audio gear suited to fast-turnaround social shoots.
Comfort translating technical/tech-industry subject matter for a general audience.
Fluency with editing tools (Premiere, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar).
Strong eye for social performance: hooks, pacing, trends.
Ability to self-direct: shoot, edit, and ship with minimal oversight.
A portfolio or reel of native social content you’ve shot and produced start to finish.

Responsibilities

Shoot original short-form video content (product features, talking heads, event coverage, b-roll).
Develop and pitch social content ideas for complex technical/product stories.
Edit content natively for social with pacing, captions, sound design, and trending audio.
Turn around content fast, often same-day or next-day to stay relevant.
Monitor platform performance and iterate formats based on resonance.
Collaborate with strategy, marketing, and product stakeholders to stay accurate yet native to social.
Manage your production workflow end to end — shoot, edit, and ship.
