Job summary

Ohm is seeking an Applied Machine Learning Engineer to take ownership of ML problems across the physical AI space, from framing to deployment and ongoing support in live customer environments.

You will work with the founder, Head of Engineering, and Ohm's engineering teams at customer accounts, blending research depth with practical delivery and aligning stakeholders around technical decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data science, machine learning, or applied AI with production ML experience.
• Background in engineering, physics, chemistry, or related STEM discipline.
• Experience working with sparse/noisy/time-series data from engineering contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own ML problems end to end—from framing to deployment and support in live environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to productionize ML methods.
• Build and maintain production models whose outputs influence real engineering decisions.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
