Job summary

Giant Pictures seeks a detail-oriented media workflow operator to manage end-to-end ingest, transcoding, QC, packaging, and delivery. You will assemble delivery packages, validate assets, and ensure accurate metadata, supporting compliance and platform-ready outputs.

The role requires deep knowledge of video/audio standards, proficiency with Switch, Compressor, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and distribution tools, with a focus on precise QC and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Three or more years supporting end to end media workflows across ingest, transcoding, QC, packaging, and delivery.
• Deep understanding of professional video and audio standards, including resolutions/formats, color space, timecode, codecs, and containers.
• Experience with high-performance file transfer and delivery systems and familiarity with OTT/FAST/AVOD specs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble delivery packages in Telestream Switch, Apple Compressor, and comparable tools and deliver through appropriate portals.
• Register incoming source media, artwork, timed text, and metadata and verify integrity.
• Audit client-supplied assets against platform specs and flag deficiencies early.
• Execute and monitor encoding and transcoding, troubleshoot failures, ensure outputs meet specs.
• Perform QC including spot checks and full passes, write timecoded reports.
