Job summary

Zipline is seeking a hardware-focused engineer to drive the droid subsystems from concept to production, ensuring reliable, repeatable performance across DVT, PVT, tooling, and first article validation. You will own test campaigns, coordinate fixtures, and push subsystems through the ramp to production with our manufacturing partners.

You will work with an interdisciplinary hardware team to deliver end-to-end Droid units, interfaces, and integration for scalable readiness, while managing

Responsibilities

• Take droid subsystems from the design phase through DVT, PVT, tooling release, first-article, and full-rate production, owning the execution end-to-end.
• Own test campaigns for the subsystems you drive, writing test plans, coordinating fixtures, running campaigns, and driving root-cause when things fail.
• Stand up NPI and production lines at our contract manufacturers, and manage the Jira queue, ECOs, supplier communication, and schedule with TPMs.
