Job summary

Quality Glass and Mirror Service in Omaha, NE is hiring an Architectural Aluminum and Glass Estimator to own the full estimating process from drawings to final order, including takeoffs, supplier pricing, and bid follow-up.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to senior leadership; successful candidates will manage their own pipeline and have access to tools like Bluebeam, Glazier Studio, and WinBidPro to drive accurate quotes.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of commercial estimating experience in architectural glass/aluminum systems
• Hands-on proficiency with takeoff/estimating software (Bluebeam, Glazier Studio, WinBidPro)
• Direct experience with architectural aluminum systems and interior glass hardware
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Read drawings/specifications to determine storefront type and hardware
• Build accurate takeoffs and quotes using takeoff software
• Source and confirm pricing with suppliers and negotiate
• Follow up with customers throughout the bid process
• Place and track material purchase orders and see project through to fulfillment
• Maintain organized project files and vendor records
