Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. You will design and tune SQL and Snowflake models, build ELT pipelines on AWS, and stitch applications, warehouse, and reporting layers into one reliable data flow across a multi-brand, multi-site portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Eng, IS, Math, or related field.
• Around three years of data/analytics engineering experience.
• Deep SQL skills with performance tuning and data modeling.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data warehouses.
• Experience building dbt models, testing, and documentation.
• Proficient with AWS data services (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM).
• Strong Power BI experience with data models and DAX.
• Familiarity with Git and version-controlled workflows.
• Understanding of AI tooling and MCP servers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ELT pipelines into Snowflake.
• Ingest from DRB and POS systems; handle late-arriving data.
• Develop dbt models with well-tested transformations.
• Model domain concepts across brands/sites for consistency.
• Own scheduling and monitoring of end-to-end pipelines.
• Connect source apps, APIs, Snowflake, and downstream consumers.
• Analyze data to surface trends and validate assumptions.
• Build Power BI dashboards and semantic data models.
• Apply AI tooling to automate data tasks and workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and finance.
