This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Performs EEGs in an outpatient setting and at the patient's bedside.
Applies patient electrodes in accordance to the International 10-20 system.
Performs routine EEG testing. Reviews patient histories and educates patients about procedures. Observes, notates, and analyzes ongoing clinical and technical changes, adjusting the testing procedures as appropriate for individual recording sessions.
Monitors and documents patient condition and responds to and reports any adverse reactions. Identifies and eliminates artifacts.
Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation. Completes all paperwork.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
