Job summary

Studio | LB, part of Lerch Bates, seeks a Building Enclosure Designer in the US to advance high quality enclosure solutions. You will translate complex concepts into coordinated, constructable designs and support technical details, specs, 3D models, and graphics for both new and historic projects.

The role emphasizes building science applications, collaboration with leadership, and delivering robust enclosure details across façades, glazing, roofing, and waterproofing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural drafting, construction document production, or enclosure detailing.
• Proficiency with Revit, Rhino, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, detailed enclosure designs using Revit, Rhino, and Bluebeam.
• Develop enclosure system assemblies for façades, glazing, curtain walls, roofing, waterproofing, and air/vapor barrier assemblies.
• Interpret drawings to support coordinated, constructable design solutions and assist with code research.
