Job summary

Country Club in New Mexico is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the lawns, trim trees and hedges, mow and manicure grass, and keep pathways clean. The ideal candidate will be hard-working with a solid understanding of lawn care and landscaping.

In this role you will perform routine grounds maintenance, operate landscaping equipment, and ensure outdoor areas remain inviting. A strong work ethic and familiarity with safety practices are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for long periods.
• Experience with mowing, pruning, edging, mulching, and general lawn care preferred.
• Familiarity with sprinkler systems and basic garden maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fertilize, mow, weed, and edge lawn areas.
• Maintain garden areas, including pruning, weeding, and mulching.
• Trim hedges, bushes, and trees.
• Maintain clean pathways.
• Ensure outdoor areas are protected from inclement weather.
• Operate push and riding mowers and other landscaping equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Groundskeeper, Landscaper, or other position is preferred
• High school diploma/GED is preferred
• Familiarity with landscaping equipment and machinery
• Understanding of sprinkler systems
• Knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and gardening techniques
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
• Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
