Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a senior Applications Engineer to lead the deployment and optimization of emulation platforms such as ZeBu for ASIC and SoC verification.

You will work directly with customer engineering teams to resolve design challenges, improve performance, and enable effective use of Synopsys emulation solutions. You will bring 6–10 years of IC design/verification experience, deep HDL knowledge, and hands-on experience with Palladium, Zebu, or Veloce.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years hands-on experience in IC design, verification, emulation, or FPGA prototyping.
• Deep understanding of ASIC verification methodologies including simulation, emulation, and prototyping.
• Proficiency with Verilog and VHDL; strong SystemVerilog for testbenches and assertions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Synopsys emulation platforms, leading bring-up, debug, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware emulation, FPGA prototyping, and virtual platforms.
• Lead pre-sales technical evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements with customers.
