Job summary

BigBear.ai seeks an Emulation Developer to design, develop, and test application software for emulation needs across Windows, Unix, and other platforms. Join a collaborative, agile team supporting national security and critical operations.

Responsibilities include building robust software, GUI development, and adapting to evolving requirements while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions. TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly (required).
  • 2 years in commercial, Government, or academic setting; OR 4 years academic experience developing with object-oriented programming languages.
  • Windows development with Visual Studio or .NET; Unix development with makefiles or equivalent build environments.
  • Experience with C, C++, Java, or C# in professional or academic settings.

BigBear.ai is seeking a talented Emulation Developer to design, develop, and test application software for emulation needs across Windows, Unix, and other platforms. Join a collaborative team working on high-impact projects in a fast-paced, agile environment, where your skills will directly support national security and critical operations.

What You Will Do
  • Design, develop, and test application software to fulfill emulation needs on Windows, Unix, or other specified platforms.
  • Build applications using specified programming languages as directed by the Government.
  • Develop custom graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for applications.
  • Respond to evolving requirements and adapt quickly in an agile development environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver robust, reliable solutions.
What You Need To Have
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Poly (required).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum two (2) years in a commercial, Government, or academic setting; OR
    • Four (4) years academic experience developing with object-oriented programming languages.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Minimum one (1) year experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET; OR
    • Minimum one (1) year experience developing Unix applications using make files or comparable build environment, developing complex programs using C, C#, C++, Java, or other comparable languages.
    • One (1) year development experience may be credited for appropriate coursework in Windows or Unix programming, completed as part of an awarded Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

  • Experience developing complex programs using C, C#, C++, Java, or other comparable languages.
  • Experience implementing software life cycle management (requirements, design, development, testing, validation, and deployment).
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and adapting to changing requirements.
