Qualifications

• 19 years old
• Valid Michigan driver's license and three years of driving experience
• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
• Proof of required vaccinations
• Willingness to remain calm under pressure, show empathy in emotionally intense situations, and commit to completing the full training and licensing process

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of emergency care and develop practical skills through classroom instruction and ride-alongs.
• Complete 10 weeks of instruction Monday-Thursday 5 PM-10 PM and the final two weeks for certification prep.
• Upon successful certification, move into a full-time EMT role working alongside a seasoned partner in the field.

High school diploma, GED, homeschool equivalent, or dual-enrolled high school senior
