Qualifications

• Must have general knowledge of EMS operations and equipment.
• Ability to learn through EMS training and protocols.
• Must be able to read and understand road systems in assigned communities.
• Obtain skills including airway management, CPR, and defibrillator use.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and EMS operations training sessions.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport following protocols.
• Lift and move patients and equipment safely per guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers, patients, and medical staff.
• Perform documentation of patient information in approved records.
• Maintain EMS equipment, supplies, and vehicle readiness.
• Respond to callbacks and emergencies as needed.
• Support team and complete tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct during all shifts.
