Job summary

Global Medical Response in Timmonsville, South Carolina is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for full-time roles. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, provide high-quality care, and deliver customer service to patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State EMT License and valid driver’s license required.
• BLS and NREMT certifications required or in progress.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test required.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• EMTs assess patients, determine needed care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate EMT skills including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

State EMT License

State Driver’s License

BLS, NREMT

Driving record compliant with company policy

Pass Physical Agility Test

Some work experience, preferably healthcare
